Went for afternoon tea for mother's Day with my daughter. Best afternoon tea ever. Such a huge variety to choose from and everything was hone made and delicious. Well done Rachael and here's wishing you many more years of success. I would highly recommend this beautiful tearoom to anybody.
We’re here on a Saturday (market day). The place completely full and people waiting for a table. The WiFi very very slow. Sep 2022 Awesome place for cakes, scones and coffee everything was delicious and they have a wide selection of cakes made on the premises. Very friendly staff and fast service. The breakfast menu looks really good but we didn’t try it so can’t comment
We hadn’t planned to visit South Molton but I’m very glad that we did. It’s a lovely town and our lunch at Rachel’s Bakery made the visit. Food, service and atmosphere were all first class as were the cakes we chose to take home for the rest of the family. Thanks to all for a great lunch, we will visit again.
Rachaels tearoom and bakery is a must for anyone visiting South Molton! From pastries and cakes to breakfasts and lunches, they do it all and exceptionally well! We pop in often when we're visiting family in the town. And we were lucky enough to be able to book for their incredible Mothers Day afternoon tea. It was incredible! Rachael and her team go above and beyond for their customers. The food is always delicious, staff always helpful and friendly, I can't recommend them highly enough.
Great spot in South Molton for a weekend breakfast! Staff are so friendly even with our two kids under two. High chairs available. Wide selection of food options and amazing cakes. Coffee was also excellent!
This is a proper tea room. Really tasty food and excellent service all in a quaint setting. Cheese scone was fantastic and I loved the way the Tuna Melt was done. Will defo be visiting again before the holiday ends!!
Not much to say but, very good. Popped to South Molton and the surrounding area. So what do you do, you pop into a tea room. Great food, good serve. We'll worth the stop.
My first time at Rachel's. I decided to indulge a bit and started off with a Cornish pasty. It was a very good Cornish pasty! I think even a Cornish person wouldn't have reason to complain! Next up I had the coronation chicken sandwich. Again, it was delicious and very satisfying. I then decided to finish up with a cream tea, which unfortunately was not up to par with the previous two dishes. The helping of cream and jam was fine, plenty to cover both sides of the scone adequately. The issue I had was with the scone itself; it was a bit dry (could have been old) and for a fruit scone, it didn't have much fruit. It was perfectly edible, just not as enjoyable as I would have liked. The staff were friendly and kind, and the environment was fine. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, and will be visiting again soon I'm sure.
